Here's why I created this blog

Okay, I don't know about you, but I'm pissed off at the direction our country is taking. Yes, back in the 1990's our president, Mr. Bill Clinton, cheated on his wife, but looking back on that, I don't remember ever thinking that the world was quickly coming to an end or that our leaders were working against us. In fact, I didn't have to think all that much about government. I felt that the people in Washington for the most part cared about the citizens of our country and were trying desperately to make sure we as a country were okay. But no. Now we have Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rummy, and the rest of the Republican Mafia daily trying to tear down the very premise our country was founded on: We the people, by the people, and for the people. I am the people and I am outraged!!!! What is upsetting me the most is that there are some people in this country who still believe that Bush was born in Midland, Texas and that he doesn't have an ounce of "silver spooniess" in his body! Oh for the love of God. This man along with the rest of his Mafia have for years been on the side of "what not to do" in the corporate world! They hate the fact that this country has laws, rules, and regulations and they are so desperately trying to change everything to meet their own needs. Spying on Americans without leaving a paper trail? Sure!!! Why not, they say! This ideology never ends either. Every week something new pops up in the news that makes Americans say to themselves, "What the hell? What is going on with them that they can't see the light?". They're forgetting that we (meaning those of us who consider themselves part of the "Constitution Party" which was the democratic party years ago but not today....well....except for Russ Feingold....he has the Constitution in his heart still and is fighting to try to save our symbol!), the American people, who never, ever, want this country to be like Afghanistan (Taliban is in control there now!), Saudi Arabia, North Korea, or Iraq (yes Iraq....Iranian extremeists are running the show there people!). Why? Because we are a democracy. Our forefathers didn't lock themselves in a building for 3 days to hash out our Constitution because they were hoping that somebody like Bush and Cheney would come along and change everything! No! Our forefathers looked at their present situation and knew what they wanted: a democracy. Give the power to people and not to the guy in the Oval office in the White House. This is why I have created this new blog. I'm tired of the crap coming out of Washington and I'm tired of the media consistently giving in to them. Do you have any thoughts you'd like to share?
