Sen. Arlen Spector getting ready to sue Bush...
...yup, you heard it. Spector is getting legislation together to sue the pants off Bush for breaking the laws of this country by consistently ignoring them! Here's what Spector said yesterday on the floor of the Senate:
"We will submit legislation to the United States Senate which will...authorize the Congress to undertake judicial review of those signing statements with the view to having the president's acts declared unconstitutional..."Part of the legislation should include verbage that forces Bush to create a report for each signing statement that he issues explaining the lawful reason behind it. That was kicked around yesterday, so let's hope the Congress gets it's act together in creating legislation that is forceful against the most corrupt and criminal administration our country has ever seen!
