Three Enron bankers are being treated like dogs

And isn't that they way they all should be treated who were connected to the Enron scandal in any capacity? I think so. Not only do these three bankers from Britain, who are currently living in Houston, Texas, have to stay in our country, they also have to sell their homes to make their bail payments, and have to wear satellite ankle bracelets! Woohoo! I think the judge should force them to live amongst the 'common people'. That would scare them senseless!
Here's what Judge Smith had to say:
When Michael Sommer, representing Giles Darby, said that there was no “real world” motive for any of the Britons to flee bail, Judge Smith snapped: “What about the fact they’re facing 30 years in prison?”
He said: “This court has never released a defendant
to travel outside the United States. The defence has articulated substantial concerns. I’m not unsympathetic, but unfortunately this is something that always happens. The defendants will be contained in the US and their families can come and visit them in this country.”
The three bankers are charged with wire fraud in connection with the collapse of Enron. Bastards.
