"The US forces cannot protect the Iraqis"...
....and the Iraqi officials are now calling on peacekeepers from the United Nations to help out! Wow, haven't we all been saying that our mere presence in Iraq is causing turmoil? Could the Iraqis be sick of the NeoNazis (or Skinheads) who have joined our military because they are reeking havoc over there? Are they starting to understand that American forces are doing worse things than the insurgency? I think so. It's time to redeploy our troops to Kuwait to let the Iraqis run their own country. While the republicans in our Congress brought fake war resolutions to the floor recently to 'stay the course', because they feel this is the best plan, well, it appears that us liberals were correct when we said that even the Iraqis are asking for us to set a DEFINATE timetable to get the hell out, so 'staying the course' is a bad idea! This could be an easy out for the republicans who started this war, but they will never take advantage of it, why? MONEY....LOTS OF MONEY....TO BE MADE IN IRAQ! The American corporations will use our soldiers to defend them like they have been for years now against the 'evil enemy' and won't be forced out without a fight. The American businesses (or Bush's buddies) are there for the long term. This past weekend many Iraqis were slaughtered. What will the Bush Regimes plan now that the Iraqis are wanting UN peacekeepers to come in? Who wants to be that the Prime Minister or other high officials will be assassinated now? It will be interesting how this will proceed.
