The D.I.N.O. is gone-O!!!!

What an amazing night last night was! Historical. It truly was a nail biter not knowing if Ned Lamont was going to beat the incumbent D.I.N.O. (democrat in name only), Joe Lieberman, but when he did I was estatic. Joe was trying everything in his 'Rovian' power to win and he even resorted to accusing Ned Lamont's team of sabotaging his website, which was incredible. Well, not too incredible since Joe really is a republican under all those layers, so it did make sense that he would resort to that kind of tactic.
America (and Connecticut!) won last night. Americans are sick and tired of the Iraq war and we want change. We're tired of the "stay the course!" slogan and Bush telling us that everything is fine in Iraq. Hell, Bush even has said that future presidents will have to handle Iraq, because he has no idea how to fix his own mess over there! There's a freaking civil war going on and all this man can say about it is things will get better in time. Well, that may be true, but why do our soldiers have to be stuck in the middle of it! Americans want a new course away from all this madness that we are currently seeing being demonstrated in Washington.
"BRING 'EM HOME!" is the new slogan of Americans and those like Ned Lamont who are running for office will be the best choice to accomplish this!
Lamont will also focus on America's issues too and that is something that Joe Lieberman has lacked in. Joe has remained steadfast in his loyalty to the republican party and it was proven to me last night when he changed his tie from blue to red at his concession speech. Calling himself an "independent" now is laughable, especially since he can't keep his tongue out of Bush's mouth!
Let's hope November is the turning point for our soldiers, their families, and our reputation in the world! We want change and we're going to get it.
