So apples to apples, I don't think a competition for IQ would be won hands down by democrats. Bush certainly held his own at the debates with Gore and Kerry.

The science is in on stem cells, and adult stem cells are actually working RIGHT NOW to cure over 60 diseases...which is why that type of research has no problem getting private funding.

He also has no problem killing brown babies. He loves that especially and one doesn't have to have a high IQ to figure that one out either.

Who is doing the science? Republicans? Hey, I don't care where the stem cells come from as long as they can be used for testing to create cures! If a women's eggs are going to be discarded in the trash, why is it not okay by you neocons to scrape the stem cells before doing it? See how you neocons are? You're okay with throwing the eggs in the trash to die but are not okay with scraping the cells off which could cause the "death" of the cell. Either way, it's going to die, so why not use what science can to find a cure?

Bush doesn't believe in science unless one of his right wing religious scientists are doing the science. Bush is a freak.

You also switch the argument - first Bush's a moron...until evidence shows he's not, then it suddenly doesn't matter!

But here's the thing, in order to make a moral judgment about his CULPABILITY you have to know whether or not he's aware of the goodness or badness of his actions. IF HE'S A MORON, then it follows that while he might be doing something bad, he wouldn't be morally culpable for it.

But you want him to be BOTH a moron AND guilty. Unfortunately for you, it doesn't work that way. If he's a MORON, then the most you can say is "his actions are harmful" but you can't assign moral guilt as "he wouldn't know better".

So I think you really mean to say you don't agree with him, not that he's stupid.

Actually it'd be better for your side of the argument to claim he's an evil genius and thus, knowing full well what he's doing, is thereby that much more culpable for it.

Couple final points: voting machines are determined by local states - 20 of which are run by democrats.... so it's not like Diebold has a monopoly. AND while allegations have been made, nothing has been PROVEN.

Bush hasn't ordered the death of "brown babies" but I continue to note that Democrats have LONG been in favor of abortion for minority women in this country, whereas Bush is NOT in favor of minority women getting abortions. So who is REALLY in favor of brown babies getting killed? Seems like it's more the Dems than the Republicans.
 

Kay, Molly is a goddess among us Democrats here in Texas. She warned us about Bushco years ago, and sadly, a majority chose not to listen. I've been a fan of hers for over 20 years. And I miss Barbara Jordan, she with the voice of God.
