White Noise Insanity

I hope your right. I watched the Casey-santorum mini-debate on mtp and was completly unimpressed by Casey. As a liberal democrat in one of the 'redder' states it seems that dems are unable to cohesively put together a message that will deliver victory in November.
 

I like to think that most democrats we watch such as Casey are just holding back because if they actually didn't have cameras pointing at them, they'd bitch slap the republican sitting next to them!

I'm not sure what Americans are looking for, but the way I see it, as long as the democrat is saying what I want to hear than I'm happy. I was a little disappointed that Casey didn't say that he wouldn't vote for the Iraq war if the vote came up again, however! I'm not sure why he would not give a definate 'no', but he did say over and over that if he knew then that the information was fraudulent like he knows now, he never would have voted for it to begin with. That satisfied me for the most part.

I think the problem is that you and I and others are to the point when we talk online about the current issues that it's discouraging to us when democratic candidates are not. Like I said today and yesterday on Americablog...the democratic base is strong and made up of many strong individuals who are pissed off as hell and that should be good enough for everyone!! Well, it is for me. :-)
 

Also, if the democrats lose in November, which is a possibility, then we can continue to point fingers at the republicans and keep the blame where it should be.
 

If democrats lose in November? That shouldn't be a possibility! When I see marginal performences like Casey's I wonder. Where are the knock-out democrats?
 

Eastexsteve, when Bush said in the beginning, "You are either with us or you're with the terrorists", I think that had a profound effect on the democrats. The neocons in this nation have called anyone who doesn't agree with Bush a traitor, un-American, and currently...a fascist. Freedom of speech was squashed the day he said that, but I do agree with you. Who cares what Bush and his Pigs say! I think the democrats need to speak more loudly.

If you watch C-SPAN at all, you would hear the democrats yelling loudly and often, but most Americans are turned off by this channel because it's boring to them. I'm a geek I guess because I tune it quite frequently.

Let's hope democrats, liberals, and moderate republicans vote for change in November! If there is vote rigging, you can bet your sweet ass there will be a revolt in this country.
 

James Carville said if the dems can't win in November, they need to rethink the whole party.

The Dems have the message, but it needs repackaged and articulated by someone who has the ability to communicate to everyone who isn't rich.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi should stay in their offices and let someone who can speak with articulation give it a try.
 

Larry, there has been so much outrage in this country since the 2000 election and just like the 2004 election, democrats/liberals/moderate republicans will vote for change, but nothing is stopping the assholes in the neocon party from stealing another election!!!

The one thing the REAL fascists don't like is losing an election. They prefer, just like the dictatorships, to be in control of the people's voice!

Americans want change and the news programs have interviewed many republican moderates who are saying they are voting for the democrat this year as a result of it.

I feel there is hope for our country this November. I really do.
 

Casey is actually a DINO, who thinks Ricky (Man on Dog) Sanitarium is done, so He (Casey) can glide into the senate, and he might be right, but Casey is a loserman type democrat, better than Doggy Man, but not much.
