"A Textbook Definition of Cowardice" by Keith Olbermann

Wow! Keith Olberman once again nailed it concerning Bush and his cowardice ways!
Here's an excerpt from Keith's brilliant special comment from Monday, September 25, 2006:

And of course, were it true Clinton had been "distracted" by the Lewinsky
witch-hunt, who on earth conducted the Lewinsky witch-hunt?

Who turned
the political discourse of this nation on its head for two years?

Who corrupted the political media?

Who made it impossible for us to even
bring back on the air, the counter-terrorism analysts like Dr. Richard Haass,
and James Dunegan, who had warned, at this very hour, on this very network, in
early 1998, of cells from the Middle East who sought to attack us, here?

Who preempted them in order to strangle us with the trivia that was,
"All Monica All The Time"?

Who distracted whom?

This is, of
course, where - as is inevitable - Mr. Bush and his henchmen prove not quite as
smart as they think they are.

The full responsibility for 9/11 is
obviously shared by three administrations, possibly four.

But, Mr. Bush,
if you are now trying to convince us by proxy that it's all about the
distractions of 1998 and 1999, then you will have to face a startling fact that
your minions may have hidden from you.

The distractions of 1998 and
1999, Mr. Bush, were carefully manufactured, and lovingly executed, not by Bill
Clinton, but by the same people who got you elected President.

And then this:

Thus, instead of some explanation for the inertia of your first eight months
in office, we are told that you have kept us "safe" ever since - a statement
that might range anywhere from zero, to 100 percent, true.

We have
nothing but your word, and your word has long since ceased to mean anything.

And, of course, the one time you have ever given us specifics about what
you have kept us safe from, Mr. Bush, you got the name of the supposedly
targeted Tower in Los Angeles wrong.

Like I've said before, if Keith Olbermann by chance ever asks me to marry him, I will. The End. Woohoo!

Comments:
Keith Olbermann has the best show on TV bar none.

Olbermann is the only one with the guts to say the truth about mthe right wing and their right wing mannequin Bush.

If the so-called journalists, who have a forum on TV would get some Olbermann spine, maybe we could clean out some of the mess in Washington.

The live stream of Keith Olbermann saying these words was out of sight Larry! Wow! The man is a true Patriot. He is today's Edward R. Murrow, hands down.

Calling the president of the United States a coward in the same week that another country's leader called him the Devil is just absolutely wonderful! The whole world and our nation now realizes that Bush's policies have been destructive and blaming the previous Admin for their own faults and incompetencies is disgraceful.

According to the Fascists, Bill Clinton can blame Bush Sr. for the 1993 WTC because Bush Sr. didn't warn him or supply him with a comprehensive plan to get Osama/al-Qaida which Bush Sr. knew about. Right? Spit.

Maybe I;m wrong, but wasn't Bin Laden once on the CIA payroll during the Reagan-Bush years as an informant?

Maybe the mighty Reagan/Bush team should have nailed him then. instead of paying him.

Like I've said before, if Keith Olbermann by chance ever asks me to marry him, I will. The End. Woohoo!

Not if I get to him first!!

Wait...why do I keep forgetting that I'm already married?? LOL~~

Keith Olberman has set the standard, in his essays he speaks truth to power with. He is a modern day news commentator in the likeness of Edward R Murrow. Murrow spoke truth to wake Americans to the unamerican happenings in his day. Keith Olbermann does the same thing today, pointing out the Unamerican actions of those whop claim to be protecting US from terra, which means what ever THEY do not like.

Bill Clinton applied this idea in his "discussion" with Chris Wallace.

The standard...speaking the truth; NO IFS, NO ANDS, NO BUTS.

Speak the truth; call the neo-cons on their LIES deceit, distortions, dishonest spin.

The standard the US Army taught me...the TRUTH , nothing less than TOTAL honesty.

DO NOT PASS BLAME,accept responsibility for your own actions or lack there of.

Clinton did not pass blame, he admitted he tried but, HE Failed to get Bin Laden...then he told the truth that Bush didn't even try until 9-12-2001. Then ONLY half heartily, because Bush's heart was always in IRAQ. He wanted to invade there. And the attack to get Bin Laden was Planned with that idea in mind.

He has 7 times the troops fighting for control over the development of the Iraqi oil fields than fighting the Taliban, and trying to capture Bin Laden.

The troops sacrifice lives and bodies, so the neo-cons can make more money.

And that is greed based on somebody else's sacrifice...which is one of the lowest forms of cowardice there is.

COWARDICE...in words and deeds. The neo-cons must be PROUD of themselves when they look in the mirror, but they probably look at their bank account and stock holdings and tell themselves they "EARNED IT" with all their hard work. It is too bad the troops have financial problems and their benefits get cut to finance the tax cuts for the neo-con rich and wanna be rich.

You know the lies spin distortions and deceit is HARD work, everyday reality throws more at them. The world will not roll over for them, so they work hard spinning and spreading fear to keep everyone accepting their lies about keeping us being safe.

There are those NASTY elections every two years. They can not even rest because as soon as they steal one another is coming along. Denying voters the rights the US Soldier fought and died to give them, by disqualifying their registration or dis-enrolling them, is HARD work. That is usually not enough, so they have to get many people disqualified to vote on election day with dirty tricks and intimidation techniques. What is a democracy worth if it can not be subverted for the neo-cons greed. The soldiers got their pay didn't they? and they do get parades and are mentioned in speeches, what more could the neo-cons be expected to do?

Watching everybody to declare those you disagree with unpatriotic is hard work. There is way too much dissent in the war on terra, doesn't everybody understand how bad it is for troop moral if we do not cheer them on every day?

Thinking of new ways to spin the same old shit every day is hard work. With all the unplanned actions which the MSM wants to tell everybody about it is getting harder every day. Why do they have to stray out of the green zonwe or the white house? The truth is there for everybody to see, just ask Tony Snow or the US Army spokesman in Baghdad.

And there are those horrible people in the Army and CIA who will not adjust their professional opinions to the truth of the party line. they must be swiftboated and marginalised. They can not be allowed to speak what they know, because their reality does not fit the campaign theme this year. Why can't they just find the facts that we know is there for all to see? Why must they accept the words of people who are not even americans?

And after all if the neo-cons do not win, they will have to really work hard explaining to congress next year all their failures they are working so hard to hide this year. and THAT will be real hard work. Losing is not gonna happen come hook or crook, or diebold.

So with all the hard work they do, they feel justified in believing they do as much as a soldier who spends a year in IRAQ. The soldier just has to follow orders. And win the war, after all they do not have to deal with a unappreciative US citizen.

Being a COWARD NEO-CON is hard work. they have been at it since Reagan began the dishonest spin machine in 1980. Too bad they have to be such COWARDS about it though.
