Old man Bush doesn't really care about saving Georgie, anymore than Georgie wants to listen to "daddy".

Its all about salvaging the money and both the "daddy" and "junior" are willing to sacrifice American lives to salvage their investments.
 

It's also about saving their reputation (my thread below talks about this) because Bush has botched the Iraq occupation so badly that Daddy is now putting in a guy at the DOD who is a crony and who will not change the course at all (been very profitable for everyone in their lives).

The neo-con gutless chicken hawks who got in a war they refuse to pay for, and refuse to deal with in an adult manner, they tried to destroy the US constitution something even Osama can not do, so they are a bigger enemy of the constitution which is what each generation has passed from one to the next which made this country great in a way no other western capitalist democracy is.

Freedom of speech LIKE I had before the "free speech" zones, freedom of movement with out being placed on a "no Fly list" .

Both are freedoms Bush has stolen, and the suspension of habeas corpus is chilling to a former army Officer, because I have been to Saudi Arabia where they do not have freedoms like we do, even Germany with it's police powers was chilling to a red blooded American like me.

The war on terra was LOST in Tora Bora when Bush refused to send in enough troops to capture Osama even though the CIA man on the ground was calling directly to DC for them.

The failure to completely destroy the Taliban in 2001 is gonna come back to haunt Bush and the neo-cons who cut the military assets from Afghanistan early to set up their preplanned invasion of Iraq which they have already lost if you understand fourth generation warfare and what a indigenous population is capable of facing a superior second generation Army.

The Iraqi Government is the only thing in Iraq on it's last throes, and the Civil War has already begun, wand there is nothing we can do to stop it, if the Sunni and Shiite really want to fight it all out.

The Bush Rumsfeld cabal lost the war in 2003 when they understaffed the phase 4 of the invasion and allowed so many of Saddam's military assets to go home, WITH THEIR WEAPONS. The failure to guard the supplies, ammo and weapons of Saddam's Army just gave the insurgency a logistical free pass to begin the insurgency with many weapons and bomb making materials which they would have been hard pressed to get on their own.

So your BOYS lost one war from incompetence, and the second they have come close because they wanted Iraq way too bad.

CIA Director Michael Hayden gave testimony that strikes me as refreshingly frank on Thursday. In fact, it is ironic that the supposedly public and straightforward politicians and cabinet members, such as Cheney and Rice, mostly retail fairy tales to the US public. But the chief of the country's clandestine intelligence agency? He's telling it like it is. He revealed that daily attacks in Iraq are up from 70 in January to 100 last spring after the Samarra bombing, and then to 180 a day last month. He also said that there were only 1300 foreign al-Qaeda volunteers fighting in Iraq, whereas the Sunni Arab guerrilla movement was "in the low tens of thousands" strong. If there are 40,000 guerrillas, then "al-Qaeda" is only 3.25 percent of the "insurgency." That is why Dick Cheney's and other's Chicken Little talk about al-Qaeda taking over Sunni Arab Iraq is overblown, at least at the moment. Most Iraqi fundamentalists are Salafis, which is a different sort of movement than al-Qaeda. And the Baathists and ex-military and tribal cells cannot be disregarded by any means.

Hey Hal, no Habeas Corpus is the biggest right that the Bush Regime has taken away from Americans (along with the Patriot Act which is about as patriotic as a Bush Appeaser! Not an ounce of patriotism to be found!!). Do you know what Habeas Corpus is? I bet you think it's a "fair and speedy trial", huh? Nope, it's a right that proclaims Americans have a right to know what charges they have against them. Guess what? Not under the Bush Regime! Yes, he says taking this right away is for those pesky terrorists, but the way they worded this right now leaves it wide open for ANY AMERICAN.

Right to free speech? People are getting arrested for speaking out against Bush and have lost their jobs in the past for having an anti-Bush sticker on it.

Chris, Hal is hiding out on our small blogs because he's too embarrassed to go on AMERICAblog. Why?
