The Rapture Is Not An Exit Strategy

As of today, the Iraq War has now lasted as long as World War II and even though World War II ended with the U.S in victory, the War in Iraq has no end.

George W Bush invaded Iraq instead of bringing the one who attacked America to justice. Bush claims a "higher power" told him to launch a war on Iraq.

The "Higher Power" most Americans know, would not approve of killing innocent men, women and children. He would not approve of sacrificing many to gain wealth for a few.

2,878 American soldiers have reportedly died so far in Iraq. Does Bush really care?

There are 46,137 U.S Non-Mortal Casualties so reported and there have been 21,485 Americans reported wounded in Iraq. Does Bush really care?

As George W Bush lounged in the plush confines of Camp David, munching on his turkey and dressing prepared by the military, at least 200 Shiites were killed and hundreds more seriously wounded in Iraq.

Did Bush make any kind of public statement about this Iraqi slaughter? Did Bush leave his 52 inch TV screen long enough to let American know this was terrible?

Bush did as he always does, he remain silent, thought little of the Americans whose lives are in constant danger.

Bush didn't have the decency to spend Thanksgiving in Iraq where he says things are going so splendid.

Bush hasn't attended one funeral of a U.S soldier killed in the war he started, has no idea how to win, and could care less about how long it will last.

The title of this post was taken from a very insightful blog of which the author Maria took a photo at an anti-war demonstration of a protestors sign.

The sign read "The Rapture is Not An Exit Strategy".

Lets hope Bush doesn't wait for the Rapture to get out of Iraq.

Comments:
Great post Larry. Which blog has that protest sign? I want to see it! Great one. True too...the rapture is not an exit strategy.

lol.. thats so funny..

Kay,

I have a link to the sign on my post.

Scroll down to her second post and the sign is in clear color.

The sign says it all. Bush won't leave until the rapture and one has to wonder what will happen to him then.

Larry in a way it is a shame God is NOT going to "rapture" these people and make them LIVE by the words of Christ, and what they preach.

They say he is gonna judge them, NOT clear up their twisted personalities and deceitful ways.

Can you imagine having to LIVE by the rules they want everyone else to live by which they violate. Live by the rules they fail to live by here on earth, live that way FOR eternity, forever, how long before the rapture turns into pure hell for the3 vast majority of them?

Think If this is what God WAS GONNA DO, ALL OF THEM WOULD WANT IT ALL SO BADLY? If they had to live with their same sinful soul and twisted and hidden insecurities, while being FORCED to live by the ten commandments forever? With NO way out, but admitting their sinful ways which would mean they failed the rapture.
