The Turkey ate turkey anyways!

It's been a long tradition for American presidents to pardon the Thanksgiving turkey. The impression most Americans get is that the turkey being pardoned will not be slaughtered for consumption by the president's family. Hey, it looks good and I'm sure the turkey isn't killed, but that doesn't mean the First Family isn't going to eat turkey anyways!

Here's what the Bush family's Thanksgiving feast consisted of:

On the first family's menu was free-range roasted turkey, cornbread dressing, zucchini gratin, whipped maple sweet potatoes, basil chive red potato mash and pumpkin pie.
Yup, the First Family ate turkey! Okay, it probably wasn't the same turkey that Bush had pardoned, but they nonetheless ate turkey on Thanksgiving anyways. Shall we add this little stunt to the long list of lies, deceits, and distortions that have been accumulated under this family for the past six years? I think so. Hey, if you're going to pardon a turkey to show the American people that at least one turkey will not meet it's ultimate fate on that day, could you please eat a ham instead to make it look good!?! Jees.
