Doro Bush Koch book signing

Doro Bush Koch and her father are in Kennebunkport, Maine all weekend long to promote her new book about her relationship with her father. Well, isn't that just special...

I was alerted to them being here in Maine this weekend by another Maine blogger on AMERICAblog and I was hoping my schedule would allow me to attend today at 3pm, but it looks like I won't be able to make it (though I am going to try to convince a few friends at the Tastefully Simple party (food party) that I'm going to today to go with me!). Was I going to this book signing to give both Doro & George well wishes and a thumbs up on this book? Nope! I wanted to go down there to ask George H.W. Bush a few questions that have been bothering me and figured it would be the first time in my life I got arrested. Dissent is illegal to the Bush family.

Here's a few questions I am thinking of asking or would have asked if given the chance:

"What noble cause did Cindy Sheehan's son die for?"

"Is al-Qaida on the Bush family payroll?"

"What was your meeting about with the bin Ladens the morning of 9/11?"

"Why are you the only person in our country who is not ashamed and embarrassed by the actions of your son?"

"How's your husband Barbara doing?"

"Why does your beloved Carlyle Group have satellite technology? Is it this satellite that is providing the fake evidence about Iraq and Iran's nuclear technology to catapult the propaganda to benefit the deep pockets of your family and friends?"

"Are Americans really better off living in a stadium alongside their own feces as your husband Barbara suggested?"
These are a few of the questions if given the chance I would ask the Decider's father. Of course, one or all three of the following would happen after I asked any one of them:

Bush Sr. would order his SS to pounce on me, drag me from the building, and have me arrested for using my 1st Amendment right.

Bush Sr. would start crying and then throw up on his daughter's book that he was in the process of signing before I questioned the Imperial Highness.

Bush Sr. would ignore me and then give me a look like his husband Barbara always does to all Americans not in the top 1% of this country.
I'll let you know if I made it to this book signing today. I really want to go but I don't want to go alone just in case I get arrested. LOL I'll need someone to bail me out and then recover my car for me. My friend Jan, who is giving the Tastefully Simple party at our mutual friend Cyndie's house today, will be this person if I can convince her. She's as liberal as I am and despises the Bushes as much as I do too. Will her husband be happy if we both ended up in jail? LOL Not sure, but when her and I get together anything is possible and he knows that.

Woohoo!!!!

Comments:
lol.. i still like my question..

"which is more embarassing, a cokehead son or 2 boozehound granddaughers?" lol..

that would definately get you a 1 way trip to gitmo.

Why thank you Ms. MariaMaria. :-)

I ended up not going to the book signing, though, I did try in earnest to get my friend Jan to go with me. We both agreed as Moms...we're tired! LOL

It's my understanding that Bush Sr. & his daughter got a standing ovation after talking about the book. Gag me. I guess here in Maine there are Bush Fascist Appeasers too! Yuck.

Don't know about this.
From my experience working at a paper in SF, alot of people go to these things to rub elbows with the rich & famous.
Still, can't imagine listen to any blather from any of the bush family!

Bush was on CNN crying at the podium because one of his son's political life is OVER, he has been term limited out in Florida, and the elder Bush knows his family name is SHIT all across the earth, Totally Shit.

Poppy knows come 2009,unless impeached sooner, the Idiot is finished also, and nobody is gonna vote for either of them again.

Hope they all enjoy Paraguay, until the completion of the trials in the Hague.

Old man Bush cries because his son is a bigger failure than he was.

Doesn't old man Bush know the apple seed lies close to the old root that sprung him.
