Here's my dog Jasper...

You'd never know it but he was hit by a car this past Sunday! He didn't break a bone but was bruised pretty good (along with his ego I may add). He's still a puppy because he's a year and half old and he's so full of life and vitality! Being part beagle, it's no wonder he's that way.

I just bought myself a digital camera/camcorder for Xmas this year, so I will be posting pictures from time to time. Enjoy Jasper for now, though! He's a cutie. ;-)

Comments:
Awwwww... lookit the litle guy! You'd never guess he was a bumperball!

I had a Border Collie you would never get a picture of. Course, that was thanks to me and my water-squirter camera! After a few 'shots' from it, anyone trying to take a shot of Charlie got their camera ripped out of their hands by a snarling, black and white flurry of fur from hell!

I know... I'm sick.

Absolutely adorable pooch ... and lucky. Who hit him? And I'm glad he's fine.

LOL Rocky! That's quite a dog you have there! My Jasper is the most sweetest kindest dog ever. Every night he will jump up onto my bed and lay his head across my neck. He won't move from that position until I say, "Okay". He's such a good dog.

Arcturus, the guy who hit him actually stopped! Can you believe that? He was frantic, so not only did I have to calm my dog who was visibly in shock, I had to calm my son down..andddddddddd...the guy who hit him. It was quite a scene. I don't think the guy was travelling too fast when he hit Jasper, but Jasper did have a tire mark on the side of his body. (Yes Rocky....HE WAS A BUMPER BALL! LOL)

He got better in 5 days. So wonderful. ;-)

Awww! I'm glad the pup is in good shape. I have a three year-old yellow lab named Buddy who still thinks he's a puppy. I don't know what I'd do without him.

I lost my Shepherd/Husky mix Dhana a year ago yesterday so I don't know what I'd do without my big Buddy.

Aren't dogs just the coolest people?

Jasper is in good company.

My hound had a thing for paperboys, he didn't like them. I was driving along the street one day in my pickup, with Charlie in the back. He was doing the dog thing, swapping sides of the truck box for reasons known only to them.

I saw a paperboy out of the corner of my eye, walking along the sidewalk. A thought came to me, and I said aloud, "Nawww... he wouldn't!" Forcing myself to look into the rear-view, sure enough, the dipstick had seen the paperboy and was sliding along the pavement on his face after bailing from the back of the truck at 40 mph!

By the time I'd hung a 180 and drove back, the kid was gone, and Charlie was catching up on the latest gossip against the side of the mailbox!

Hounds!

JP, you have a dog too! Wow, we are a match made in...er......the Northeast! ;-)

Rocky, I can tell the dogs in your life have been as animated as you!

Dogs are the bomb. They're so different from cats. My cat is 12 and she rolls her eyes all the time at the dog. Jasper boings around her constantly so it's no wonder she is annoyed all the time!

I can't imagine my life without animals.

Sliding along the pavement on his face at 40mph!! (still laughing about this!!) LMAO

Kay I can feel for Jasper, a year and a half ago I was riding my bike down Interstate 65 at 2:30 in the morning when a deer crossed my path. Unable to avoid it, I ended up doing a barrel roll down the pavement, which probably kept me from breaking anything.

That is NOT a good feeling so I can feel for Jasper, tell him that he's lucky, one of my friends here now calls me a ghost.

LOL Clif! Gotta watch out for them deer! They do come out of nowhere sometimes (and moose!)!

Yes, Mr. Jasper had his ego a little smudge after the accident. One good thing? A couple days after the accident, he was out back on his chain and he caught in the corner of his a car coming and he jumped two feet to the left! He's petrified of cars now which is a good thing.

What stunk about the night he got hit was it was his last time out for the night. I was in my pajamas when the whole thing happened! A little embarrassing but I think because of the trauma of it no one probably noticed. ;-)
